Chase Sapphire Preferred 75,000 Points

This is one of the best Beginner Cards. This is because Chase has some great transfer partners and you can get some great value out of them and this card has a very attractive annual fee of $95.

Chase has changed the value you get in-portal for the points, but transferring out will still get you great value

This card is great for those who want a simple, high-earning card.

This card is favored by many because of the 18 different transfer partners Capital One has AND the 2x points earned on every purchase

You'll earn five 50,000 point certificates after spending $3,000 in 3 months of card opening.

These certificates must be used within 1 year and can only be topped off with up to 15,000 points each. Also, if you book a room for less than 50,000 points, you will not get any of the remainder back. So, it's important you have a plan to use them (my favorite hotels I used them at were Austin Proper in Austin, Texas, St. Regis in Cairo, and Edition, Reykjavik, Iceland!
